The Rafael Film Center is screening the documentary A Dangerous Idea on April 24 at 7pm. This film examines the history of the US eugenics movement and its recent resurrection, which uses false scientific claims and holds that an all-powerful "gene" determines who is worthy and who is not.

After the viewing of the film, there will be a question-and-answer period with the filmmakers, Stephanie Welch, Maureen Gosling & Jed Riffe.
